Relationship with God–Pray for a deep hunger after God, for the study of God’s Word. Pray that we/I would abide in Christ daily and experience daily victory over Satan’s attacks.
Adjustments and adaptation–Pray for me/us regarding speaking spanish and negative feelings during culture shock such as discouragement, loneliness and depression. Pray for my/our stability, rest, and relaxation in all areas of life. Pray for patience in adapting. Pray that we adjust well spiritually emotionally, and physically upon return.
Health–Pray against attacks on our body and for good health in the midst of living in areas where disease is everywhere. Pray that I/we don't get sick from being in a high altitude.
Relationships with People–Pray for love and forgiveness in our relationships with other missionaries and with nationals. Pray for good connections, good conversation, and for the week to go according to God’s plan, not our plan.
Pray that we walk in the spirit in all situations and depend on God’s wisdom, strength and ability and not our own. Pray for an attitude of humility and brokenness. Pray for strength and endurance as the team begins to interact with the community and share the love that God has for everyone.
For revival in the land–Pray for God’s Spirit to move in Mexico.
UNITY-that we would realize we are one part of a larger body, and our goal is not personal growth or glorification, but to see God's Kingdom grow, the others are added bonuses.
Ability to communicate–Pray for difficulties in language learning. Pray that the love of Christ will shine through our lives and lips clearly and with boldness. Pray for open hearts, opportunity, and fruitfulness. Pray that they know how to relate to the felt needs in the culture.
Pray we will be an encouragement to the Missionaries and Home Group Leaders we will be working with...This Sunday will be the Good-Bye of the Church and the beginning of an all new era with home groups. Please keep the body in your prayers as they walk this uncharted territory.
Pray for the kids that we are ministering to will have open hearts to the message of Jesus Christ.
