What a great 1st day in Mexico! We arrived about 1:30 and ate lunch at the airport. We then crammed everything in 2 cars and headed to the hotel. I think most of us were already tired, but then we walked about 10 minutes to the local missionaries house here, Bess and Brenda. Some of the people from the local church also came and we planned the coming weeks activities. We had a great time building relationships with everyone here. We even got to try out our Spanish that we have all been working on!
We were challenged to find Jesus in everyone we come in contact with, everyone needs to be loved and shown compassion. Our team needs to display the love that God has for everyone. Pray that we would be an encouragement to everyone around us and that people would see Jesus in us and working through us.
