We spent the day learning about the culture. 90% are in idolatry and only 3% are Christians. We weren't to the basilica to see first hand the idolatry and to pay for the people. Absolutely crazy how people worship Mary. People walk for days to be at the basilica for Mary's birthday. 6 million people to be exact. We then went and had the best lunch downtown followed by going to the tallest building in Mexico city. We prayed at each of the sides of the building for the people of Mexico city. POWERFUL
We then went and had dinner at Yasmin & Marcos house. It was another great time talking and praying with the church. I love their heartbeat... wanting to be more like Jesus and being led by only Him. More to come on how to pray for the church.
