1 week away

We are a week away from departure.  The countdown and crunch time has begun.  There is still bags to be packed supplies to be purchased and lessons to be planned.  If it is one thing God teaches me over and over again, it is that He is ultimately in control.  We have been planning, prepping, and preparing our hearts for the last 8 weeks.  We have gleaned knowledge from Nehemiah and shared devotionals on how God has transformed our lives.  But the thing we covet most is your prayers:

• communicating with the youth and leaders, that the espanol we have been practicing is put to use and the words we forget You give us
• cultural differences, help is to be aware and rejoice and learn from our differences 
• The youth that are attending the retreat that don't know Jesus come to see Him as a loving and merciful God who offers the gift to them!  For those that know Christ that they see how God has transformed their lives and how He is continuing to do so
• our team as we work closely with each other during long days and in tight corners that we can see each others differences as a blessing
• We are led by the Holy Spirit and not our selfish desires
• We rely on Jesus to sustain us and conquer any of our fears 
• PRAISE thay God has called us and we are going!!!!
